August 22 Saturday Night 6-8 pm
Discover unique and handcrafted ceramic process learning how
to Throw on the potters wheel using Throwing Techniques (2 pieces couple ) All materials provided. That the Couples will have instruction on wheel throwing and instruction on how to use underglazes on the surface pieces .
Pieces will be completed with clear glaze and completed by The Mad Pottery Staff. 30 Day Turn Around for completion. (contact information required

Future Class Offering -Raku Classes
Discover unique and handcrafted ceramic process learning how
to Glaze using Raku Techniques on premade forms (2 pieces per class) All materials provided. That the student will take home 2 Raku pieces after the class 10am to 4pm . (glazing 10 am to 11:30am) Firing will start at 12:30 pm to 4pm
10 students max per- class (meets 1 session- 5hours ) Cost $110
Hand Building -Sea life Work Shop
Class Offering
Sunday August 23 12pm to 4pm
Discover unique and handcrafted ceramic techniques using pinching and coiling. Students will make 2 shell forms , a sand dollar, a star fish
(3 to 4 inches in size)
(1 session 4 hours) Cost $100 -Class is limited to 12 people
Pieces will be bisque fired and be sagar fired (completed by Mad Pottery Staff)
Shell workshop pieces will take 4 weeks for completion

Introduction to the potters wheel
with Free Lance Artist
Elizabeth Van Antwerp
The Pottery introduction Experience is designed for you to come and receive instruction on the pottery wheel 15 minutes and assistance on how to throw a bowl. It is a 60 min session after instruction (each person has there own professional potters wheel to use for the class), and you will have 1 bowl from your 2 lbs of clay at the end of the session. Great for beginners or those wanting to get back into pottery. Bowls will be finished by The Mad Pottery Staff with a cobalt blue glaze. Bowls will take over 30 days for completion. Contact information is required for return of the bowl made.
Thursday from 10am to 11:15am.
